YOU GUYS SHOULD TEACH ME HOW TO BE A PROPER GROUPIE IN LONDON
I meant the “groupie” comment in the best way, as you wrote yourself you seem to be always at the front for every show, and seem to be quite aquainted with the indie-music scene of London
Apologies if it sounded offensive.
And sorry about Soko, I tried really hard to change perspective and find something I could’ve liked about her, but I just could not stand her. She’s got so much character I give her that, but I see no talent there at all. She can’t really sing, she can’t really play, and don’t get me started on her songwriting. I know it sounds terrible said like that and I feel so sorry to be thinking such things (it’s the first time ever that I really can’t stand a musician like that I think) but when I think of it, again, I still agree with that impression.
I guess I can see where you’re coming from about Soko, however I thought her French vocals were lovely and her simple songs were cute, in a weird amusing way, although I agree her songwriting isn’t out of this world lyrically, but then again “I have built a treehouse, I have built a treehouse…” isn’t exactly groundbreaking lyrically either. Each to their own!
