Video: Laura Marling- No Hope In The Air

OK, as mentioned before, I do like 2 Laura Marling songs. This one is one of them. I’ve heard her do it a few times and I only just discovered it’s name, I’ve always thought of it as The Last Serving Daughter Song. Anyway, this is a great quality video and I know quite a few Laura Marling fans so hopefully you’ll appreciate this video. I’m hoping some other videos from other bands (JEFFREY!) surface.

I like ‘theeeeere’s a house across the river……’ because I really like that ‘gold is fleeting gold is fickle gold is fun’ part.

    Dearest Music Fan:

I have been collecting music it it’s various forms and genres over the past 40 years. I am very eclectic and depending on my mood, can end up anywhere from folk to blues to rock. My focus has of course, been the sixties. I have collected music throughout the rest of the remaining decades. It is wonderful to find this music existing in what I can only term as a sea of musical indifference. A slow, irreverent decay over time and distance.

This music you have provided me with today shines a very bright light into an otherwise dark and dim musical void. Because of this type of music, I will continue to search out todays modern efforts if only to bring to light the talent that I know still exists out there in musicland.

    Very Gratefully,

    Teddy Callahan
