French music

I’m so excited to go to France to see Scary Mansion! Annoyingly, the two other bands she’s playing with are both from Britain… how un-exotic. London and Paris are 289 miles apart, that’s a 578 mile round trip I’m doing to see Scary Mansion play for probably only half an hour or forty minutes. St Vincent then Scary Mansion…. those two days are so good for me. Because I’m cheap and not scared by night time (unlike most of my friends) I was planning on just wandering around Paris all night until the next day, to save me getting a hotel. My dad was kind and got me a hotel because I guess most people don’t like the idea of wandering around alone in the night. I do! It’s peaceful and quiet and pretty. Unless it’s raining. Anyway, I’m trying to think up a great French playlist for me to listen to. One of my favourite French songs is Mes Bouquets D’Asphodeles by Marie Laforet. I’ll listen to some Yann Tiersen and Coeur De Pirate. Recommend me some good French music if you know some.

I love this song, pop overload:

you’re a real trooper! check out the album Tout Seul Dans La ForĂȘt En Plein Jour, Avez-Vous Peur? from Woelv. she’s actually french-canadian but it’s still french. it will be perfect while roaming parisian streets at night.

Thank you for this song…. We have played it several times. Have you ever heard an Australian try to speak french with an Ozzie/french accent… not pretty, and the singing is even worse!! Love your site, I’m becoming addicted.
