Mates Of State

Despite being a bit chilly, the weather today is sunny and beautiful. Thus, it is a Mates Of State kind of day. I listened to them while I went on an epic 4 mile  walk round central London. I walked over to Fopp to ask about wristbands for the Howling Bells instore later, turns out you don’t need them. I also took a browse round the shop and found the Emmy the Great First Love 7″ for £2. What a steal. I bought it and was quite pleased as I didn’t expect to see it there. So after burning off some calories yet to be consumed, I went in search of food. Everywhere is so expensive. This is what led me on my epic journey wandering around everywhere. I contemplated going to the cinema because I haven’t been in about a year, but tickets were £13. I could go to a gig for that price. I am back at halls now but will just have to head out again in a couple of hours. Atleast walking is good for me. I think I will listen to Wildbirds & Peacedrums when I next go walking, although it does also feel a bit like a Jens Lekman kind of day…
