I’ve been pretty busy this week, I haven’t had a chance to write about the wonderful show Caitlin played on Tuesday. Soon, soon! Lots of exciting news to come- two really exciting Allotment shows in 2010 ready to announce soon.
Anyway, on Tuesday I bought a copy of Caitlin Rose’s Dead Flowers EP. It’s really wonderful and you should definately pick yourself up a copy. Big things on the horizon for Caitlin Rose in 2010, I’m sure of it! She’s very talented and plays a fine live show. The EP is available as a 10″ or on CD, you can pick it up at a show.
She’s at the Windmill tonight and Saturday, and at the Names/Local Christmas shindig on Friday, at the Big Chill House. What a brilliant pair! The Local put on some of the most wonderful shows in London, and Names are nothing less than brilliant. There’s nothing I love more than lovely people putting time, love, and care into supporting artists and helping people find good music- and that’s what both The Local and Names Records do. Visit them both.
Now off to try and see Yo La Tengo at Rough Trade…
